Camels are found in desert environments all over the world.
They have long, skinny legs, a humped back, and a wide snout. Dromedary camels, which have one hump, and Bactrian camels, which have two, may be easily identified from one another. Fat stored in camels' humps provides energy in times of scarcity.
The camel industry is crucial to the local economy. They are sometimes referred to as "ships of the desert" because to the fact that they can survive for many days on a very modest amount of water while traversing the desert.
